Has been fishing in the area since he was 10 years old and there´s hardly a fishing place that he doesn't know. He specializes in reef and offshore fishing, so you can count on catching a wide variety of fish species throughout the day.

Reef fishing trips will take you in search of snapper, barracuda, amberjack, bonito and mackerel. These trips are great if you don't have much fishing experience, as your targets are less aggressive. For more adrenaline-filled action, try deep sea fishing! You'll be targeting Mahi Mahi and Blue Marlin most of the time.

You'll also target Red Snapper, Amberjack, Barracuda, King Mackerel, and who knows what else may bite.

The captain will cover your drinks and fishing equipment. You can bring some snacks, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.

General info

Captain Mario will meet you at the Caleta Harbor, where you’ll aboard his 26’ Imensa boat.

The boat´s center console seats 4 and there´s enough room for everyone to fish at the same time; It´s powered by twin 120 HP Yamaha engines, ensuring a smooth ride. The boat has navigation and safety equipment, stabilizers, downriggers and an icebox for your drinks.

We love fishing with Mario !!!! We book at least one trip every visit. It’s a smaller boat so it’s just you and family or friends which we love. He’s always got us on the fish the best he can, the price is right and times are flexible :) We always come back with huge smiles from an amazing day !!!!

A fun day of fishing and snorkeling from the cruise ship with Abrimar Fishing adventures in Cozumel…

Off the ship, a quick taxi ride to the marina and then great service with Captain Mario and Frank. We had arranged time to fish and time to snorkel. We caught two Wahoo and a small tuna. How perfect! Then we finished our time with a snorkel and Frank took care to guide us in the water while Mario met us in the boat after we snorkeled along for a bit.
